Course Description:
Traditionally styled, yet still challenging Fota opened in 1993. Redesigned by Jeff Howes, the course sits at the heart of the 780 acre Fota Island estate and weaves its way through serene and picturesque woodlands. The par 71 Deerpark course, host of the 2001 & 2002 Irish open and the 2006 Irish Seniors Open impresses experienced professionals and amateurs alike. Only a short stroll from the newly renovated clubhouse, sits the unique Fota Island Golf Academy. Fantastic indoor and outdoor practice areas are complemented by computer analysis and training systems and expert tuition from the resident PGA Professionals. Green Fee rates vary from 75 Euro to 120 Euro.
